Denise Samantha Mendoza has more than 18 years experience in high-end commercial/residential properties with an emphasis in all aspects of real estate wealth management.

Denise has extensive knowledge of both Southern and Northern California. Whether it be recommendations about foodie adventures, best routes for a commute, entertainment, and events around town, she makes the entire experience personable and welcoming while spreading the spirit of 'Aloha' in all we do.

At ROOF Los Angeles & San Francisco, the foundation of it all is built the aloha way. Denise was raised in the Bay Area and has spent a lifetime immersed in Polynesian culture—she was a professional and competitive Polynesian singer and dancer, and who proudly represented the United States in Tahiti. Her cultural journey has included performing alongside legends like the Makaha Sons of Hawai‘i to Curly George of the Cook Islands, to name a few, reflecting a deep commitment to the perpetuation and celebration of all Pacific Islander arts and values.

While not of Native Hawaiian ancestry, her connection to Hawai‘i and the greater Polynesian world runs through years of lived experience, performance, and spiritual kuleana. Her skills in sailing, storytelling, and cultural mentorship, she continues to preserve the traditions that have shaped her worldview and approach to leadership.

At ROOF, these values come through in every detail—from how we serve our kūpuna and families, to how we manage homes with warmth, respect, and a sense of place. We work alongside Kūmu (teachers/cultural advisors), Christian Catholic institutions, prioritize community voices, and root our business in the values of mālama (care), pono (integrity), and pilina (genuine connection).
